PROPOSED LEASING OF LAND
Pursuant to Section 178(4)(a) of the Local Government Act 1993 (TAS), the Kingborough Council having considered the matter, has duly resolved on 21 October 2024 as to its intent to lease part of the land at Leslie Vale Oval located at 550 Leslie Vale Road, Leslie Vale, TAS, 7054 for the purpose of a third entity installing a telecommunications tower.
It is envisaged that the location of the tower will be in the northwest corner of the reserve.
Pursuant to Section 178(4)(b) of the Local Government Act 1993 (TAS), any objection to the proposed leasing of the land in question should be made in writing by 8 December 2024 to the Chief Executive Officer at the addresses below.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Kingborough Council will be held on Saturday, 7 December 2024 at 9am at the Kingborough Civic Centre, 15 Channel Highway, Kingston.
Kingborough electors are invited to make submissions on Council’s Annual Report for discussion at its Annual General Meeting. Submissions are to be made in writing on the prescribed form, which can be accessed on Council’s website at https://www.kingborough.tas.gov.au/agm or alternatively at the Civic Centre. Submissions must be received by 5pm on 29 November 2024.
