Telstra plans to upgrade an existing telecommunications facility at 27 Connor Street, BURLEIGH HEADS QLD 4220 (RFNSA No. 4220009).
1. The upgrade consists of
• Removal of eight (8) existing panel antennas
• Removal of two (2) existing Tower Mounted Amplifiers (TMAs)
• Removal of two (2) existing Remote Radio Units (RRUs)
• Installation of four (4) new panel antennas (each is no more than 2.8m long)
• Installation of four (4) new TMAs
• Installation of two (2) new RRUs
• Ancillary works including TMAs, RRUs, feeders, cable trays, fibre, and electrical cabling.
• Internal work in the existing equipment room.
2. Telstra regards the proposed works as Low-impact Facilities under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 (“the Determination”) based on the description above.
