Quinn Transport are looking to hire an experienced logistics or operations team member to assist in the efficient coordination of freight movements with our current fleet.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist with programming a fleet of Trucks encompassing the whole of the Eyre Peninsula to include speaking with drivers and clients on a daily basis.
- Assistance in the coordination and management of Sub Contractors.
- Coordination of all Freight activities including: General Freight, Grain, Fertiliser and Quarry Products.
- Writing up freight notes & entering dockets.
- Write up freight consignment notes as required.
To succeed your skills will include:
- Strong communication skills
- Competency with Computers
- Demonstrated ability to conduct good working relationships with clients & customers
- Take a hands-on approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- Forklift licence an advantage but not essential
Proven experience in a similar role within the transport industry an advantage, however all interested parties are encouraged to apply.
Due to the nature of the role, the position is required to be based in Cleve on the Eyre Peninsula. An attractive remuneration package will be paid based on your skills & experience, with a vehicle supplied & modern housing available.
