As CEO you will act as a steward of the broader Northern Territory Public Service providing strategic leadership and direction to Government, stakeholders and the community whilst contributing to interagency collaboration as a member of the CEO Coordination Committee.
We are seeking an experienced executive with a strong track record of exercising sound judgement, an ability to inspire and communicate a sense of purpose and direction for staff and stakeholders and a focus on driving service excellence and reform in a large, complex, multi-disciplined, multi-cultural organisational setting.
In addition, a strong business acumen, with experience interpreting and applying legislation in developing contemporary responses to address social, family and community issues and a comprehensive understanding of the Australian system of government will be critical to the role.
