Embroidery Machine Operator
Taylor Safety Equipment are looking for a full-time (38 hour/week) experienced Embroidery Machine Operator in Toowoomba, Qld.

We are a locally owned and operated business providing specialist workplace safety solutions including Workwear, Footwear and PPE to key industry sectors including mining, construction, infrastructure, utilities and manufacturing in Toowoomba and the Western Downs. We offer our customers tailored safety solutions, specialist staff, in-house embroidery, dedicated local service and expert advice.
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 2 years experience operating Tajima machines
- Exceptional attention to detail and eye for design
- Reliable, friendly & works efficiently with a high level of accuracy
- Organised and tidy with effective time management
- Tech savvy
- Able to work as part of a team and independently as required
- Proactively adheres to Workplace Health & Safety guidelines
- Punctual with the ability to follow systems and processes
Tasks & responsibilities
- Operate multi head embroidery machinery (6 & 8 head units)
- Garment preparation (hooping/framing)
- Implementation of embroidery programs; Wilcom & Corel Draw
- Embellish garments with logos, names etc in accordance with customer specifications
- Quality control of finished garments
- Embroidery machine maintenance in accordance with manufacturers specifications and maintain service log books
- Provide customer support with embroidery enquiries and dispatch orders
- Provide telephone support to the Administration & Sales teams when required
- Develop & maintain product knowledge and technical skills to maintain professional standards
