OPERATIONS WATER OFFICER
Permanent full-time position located in the Burdekin
Experience and qualifications:
• HR or HC class drivers licence
• Competency in excavators, backhoes, trucks and forklifts
• Knowledge of WHS in agricultural and construction environments
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of water infrastructure
• Experience in Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
Duties:
• Foster and support a positive safety culture
• Operating machinery
• Water distribution, meter reading and maintenance
• Chemical spraying
• Assist with environmental monitoring
• Investigate and resolve customer queries
