By-Law No 4 – Local Government Land Resolution - Smoking and Vaping
At its meeting held on 4 March 2025, Council revoked all previous resolutions associated with Clause 5.10.2 of By-Law No 4 and resolved that the following restrictions will apply in accordance with Section 246(3)(e) of the Local Government Act 1999:
Clause 5.10.2 of By-Law No 4 – Local Government Land shall apply in the following locations:
• Within 5 metres of any point of a fixed barbecue located on Local Government Land within the Council’s area
• Within Thorndon Park
• Athelstone Tennis Club leased area
• Campbelltown Memorial Oval, with the exception of the defined smoking area
• Lochend House and Surrounds (inside the fenced area).
