TAKE NOTICE an action has been commenced in the Supreme Court of Western Australia (No. CIV
1985 of 2023) by plaintiffs Ryan Kariuki MWANGI by next friend Mary Wanjiru KAMAU, Mary
Wanjiru KAMAU and Allan KARIUKI in which you are named as the second defendant and Leonia
IMANI is named as the first defendant. The first plaintiff’s claim is for personal injury, loss and damage
suffered by him as a result of the negligence, breach of contract and statutory guarantee by the
defendants with respect to the incident that took place while the first plaintiff was in the care of the first defendant on 30 September 2020. The second and third plaintiff’s claims are for personal injuries in the form of pure mental harm and associated losses suffered by them as a result of negligence/breach of contract of the defendants with respect to the incident that took place while the first plaintiff was in the care of the first defendant on 30 September 2020.
AND that it has been ordered that service of the writ on you be effected by newspaper advertisement.

advertisement enter an appearance either personally or by solicitor at the Central Office of the Supreme
Court of Western Australia, David Malcolm Justice Centre, Level 11, 28 Barrack Street, Perth or

default of appearance, judgment may be entered against you.
