Pursuant to the provisions of the Transport Infrastructure Act 1994, the above State-controlled road, within Townsville City Council, was declared a limited access road on 19th November 2024. The gazette notification, access management policy and limited access plans LA12466, LA12467 and LA12468, showing the parts of the State-controlled road to which access is limited, are available for inspection in the North Queensland Regional Office, Department of Transport and Main Roads, 445 Flinders Street, Townsville, the Transport Strategy and Planning Branch, Department of Transport and Main Roads, Floor 15, 61 Mary Street, Brisbane and also at the office of the Townsville City Council.
