The District Council of Coober Pedy is calling for qualified and experienced independent members to join the Audit and Risk Committee for a period of four (4) years.
The purpose of an Audit and Risk Committee established by Council is to provide independent assurance and advice to Council on accounting, financial management, internal controls, risk management and governance matters.
Council offers a sitting fee per meeting and the opportunity to attend meetings via electronic means.
