Darwin Services Club Incorporated (formerly known as Darwin RSL Incorporated) gives notice that it has applied to the Director of Gaming Machines for a substitution of the licensed premises gaming machine licence GM122 (number of gaming machines: 55), currently located at 27 Cavenagh Street, Darwin, to another existing premises presently known as “Char Restaurant”, 70 The, Esplanade, Darwin.
The current location was destroyed by fire in June 2018 and due to these exceptional circumstances, an exemption was issued for the provision of a community impact analysis.
Pursuant to section 24A(2)(d) of the Gaming Machine Act 1995, a person may make a written submission to the Director of Gaming Machines on the application within 30 days of the notice being first published in a newspaper, that day being Monday, 25 November 2024, by emailing GamingMachineAct.DTH@nt.gov.au. The 30 days period will expire on Wednesday, 25 December 2024.
