Have your say on proposed developments at Reade Park, Colonel Light Gardens

Notice is hereby given that the City of Mitcham proposes pursuant to Section 197 of the Local Government Act 1999, to consult on proposed projects at Reade Park, Colonel Light Gardens.

The City of Mitcham is seeking feedback on upgrades at Reade Park including resurfacing of three tennis courts, renewing hard-court lighting and fencing, upgrading clubroom acoustics, remodelling kitchen facilities, redeveloping the Hereford Place entrance, upgrading the external lighting at the Bowls Club and Croquet Club, reviewing leases and licenses across Reade Park and potentially removing of some storage assets.

The project is funded by the Government of South Australia on behalf of the Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing, in partnership with the City of Mitcham. These projects go towards delivering on the Malinauskas Government’s promise to resurface three tennis courts, renew hard-court lighting and fencing, upgrade clubroom acoustics, remodel kitchen facilities, and redevelopment of the Hereford Place entrance at Reade Park Colonel Light Gardens by the Member for Elder, Nadia Clancy MP in the lead up to the state election.
