The City of Adelaide proposes to update their Historic Area Statements in the Planning and Design Code.
The Code Amendment proposes to include important historic character elements within the 14 existing Historic Area Statements to enable effective assessment of future development applications and protection of historic character. The Code Amendment also proposes to list 54 buildings as Representative Buildings that exhibit historic themes and attributes of the historic built character described in the relevant Historic Area Statement.
