Impounded vehicle
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 237 of the Local Government Act, 1999, that the following vehicle has been impounded by the City of West Torrens:
• White Hyundai van (NSW) ETZ94D from Meyer Street, Torrensville.
Council has been unable to locate the registered owner of the vehicle. If it is not claimed by the registered owner and all expenses related to its impoundment are not paid within one month of the date of this notice, the vehicle will be sold or otherwise disposed of by council.
Unclaimed goods
Council is also in the possession of unclaimed goods, under the 'Unclaimed Goods Regulations 1998 (Unclaimed Goods Act 1987). These include a garage door, lighting, assorted hardware, tools and an Apple watch. A full list of items can be found on the public notices section on council's website, westtorrens.sa.gov.au
The owner of the goods, or a representative, must collect them within 42 days of the date of this notice. The goods can be collected from council's Civic Centre, 165 Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Hilton between 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday. If the goods are not collected by the due date, the Bailee may, after 3 months, proceed to sell or dispose of the goods in accordance with the Unclaimed Goods Act 1987.
