MIAMI STATE SCHOOL
The Department of Education is proposing
to deliver new infrastructure at Miami State
School including:
Stage 1
• Refurbish existing Resource Centre and Administration Block
• New two-storey General Learning Centre (GLA) comprising of up to 10 learning spaces including infi ll
• Additional on-site parking for 22 staff spaces
• New set-down area for 6 bays
Future works
• Extension of new GLA building to provide additional learning spaces
• Additional on-site parking for 17 staff spaces
The proposed development is expected to increase the enrolment capacity to 1,260 students, which equates to a total increase of 383 students with an additional 30 FTE staff to support the school.
