At about 5.50pm on 5 August 2024, a motor vehicle accident occurred on Bonogin Road, between the intersections of Davenport Drive and Smith Road. The accident involved a single motor vehicle travelling east, which lost control when it was driven over a dark coloured tarpaulin which was sitting on the roadway. The tarpaulin became caught underneath the body of the car causing it to lose control and travel off the roadway, colliding with a nearby tree.
