Proposal

The proposed rooftop facility consists of:

• Five (5) panel antennas mounted on the edge of the north-eastern corner of the lower roof (John Street frontage). The antennas range in length from 1m to 2.8m and will be located behind proposed shrouding
• Ten (10) panel antennas mounted on the edge of the north-western part of the lower roof (Dandenong Road frontage). The antennas range in length from 1m to 2.8m and will be located behind proposed shrouding
• A 5-bay equipment cabinet located on the lower roof adjacent the lift over-run (eastern side)
• Ancillary equipment associated with the facility including cabling, cable trays, mounts, walkways, handrails and signage.

The proposed installation is classified as ‘low-impact’ pursuant to the Telecommunications (Low-Impact Facilities) Determination 2018 and does not require a planning permit.

Notification is being undertaken in accordance with Section 6 of C564:2020 Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code 2020.
