NOTICE OF PROPOSED GRANT OF

MINERAL LEASE

MINERAL TITLES ACT 2010 SECTION 71

The Honourable Gerard Maley MLA, the Northern Territory Minister for Mining and Energy, and the Chief Executive Officer, Department of Mining and Energy, GPO Box 4550 DARWIN NT 0801, hereby gives notice in accordance with section 71 of the Mineral Titles Act 2010 respectively of the intent to do an act, namely to grant the following mineral lease application.

The application to which this notice applies:

Nature of act(s): The grant of a mineral lease under the Mineral Titles Act 2010 that authorises the holder to conduct activities in the title area that are ancillary to mining conducted under another Mineral Lease granted to the title holder for a term the Minister thinks fit and to seek renewals. The term for which it is intended to grant the mineral lease referred to in this notice commences from the date of grant. Objection or Submission, Section 71 of the Mineral Titles Act 2010: The landowner(s) of land in respect of which the following application is made may lodge an objection to the grant of the application; any other persons may lodge a submission. Objections and submissions must be lodged in writing with the Department of Mining and Energy, GPO Box 4550, DARWIN NT 0801 or emailed to titles.info@nt.gov.au. Objections and submissions can also be lodged at Centrepoint Building, 48-50 Smith Street, Darwin, within 30 days from the relevant Notification Date which is set out below.

Purpose: The grant of a mineral lease under the Mineral Titles Act 2010 authorising the holder to conduct activities in the title area for ancillary purposes to construct, use and maintain an infrastructure facility to store and load iron ore for transport to support mining operations under another Mineral Lease granted to the title holder.
