City of Darwin is proposing to dispose of the walkway between Vanderlin Drive and Amsterdam Circuit, Wagaman (Walkway 83) following requests from adjacent residents to purchase the land.
This walkway has been closed for a number of years and has been assessed not to be reopened in the future.
Should the Minister approve the sale of the public walkway a portion will be offered for sale to each of the adjacent residents based on the current market value of the land.
In accordance with regulation 64 of the Local Government (General) Regulations 2021, any person who wishes to object to the closure is asked to write to City of Darwin by 4:15 pm Friday 1st November 2024 (TBA)
