Biosis is undertaking an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment for the residential development at 12–16 Bent Street, Lindfield (Lot 3 DP1226294, Lot 1 DP935936, Lot 1 DP960015, Lot 1 DP960014 and Lot 1 DP318518), NSW, within the Ku-ring-gai Local Government Area on behalf of Sundale Northland Development (Phil Choy; Project Manager; admin@sundaledevelopments.com.au).
The project will be assessed as a State Significant Development under Part 4.36 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. In accordance with the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Consultation Requirements for Proponents 2010, Biosis invites Aboriginal people who hold cultural knowledge in determining the significance of Aboriginal objects and/or places in the vicinity of the above area to register their interest in a process of community consultation.
The purpose of Aboriginal community consultation is to provide sufficient information for the assessment of Aboriginal cultural heritage values, and to assist the Secretary of the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure in their consideration and determination of the application.
