OPTUS PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION’S AT:
7 EPIC PLACE, VILLAWOOD NSW 2163 AND 5 EXELL STREET, BANKSMEADOW NSW 2019
The proposals consist of the following:
At Villawood, the installation of:
•A 5m extension and new triangular headframe on the existing monopole,
•6 new panel antennas measuring less than 2.8m in height,
•9 new remote radio units behind antennas,
•Outdoor equipment units to house electrical equipment, and
•Ancillary equipment such as cabling, cable trays, and a GPS antenna.
At Banksmeadow, the installation of:
•A triangular headframe on the existing monopole,
•6 new panel antennas measuring less than 2.8m in height,
•12 new remote radio units behind antennas,
•Outdoor equipment units to house electrical equipment, and
•Ancillary equipment such as cabling, cable trays, and a GPS antenna.
2.Optus regards the proposed installations as Low-impact Facilities under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 ("The Determination") based on the description above.
