PROPOSAL TO INSTALL A NEW NBN FIXED WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITY ON AN EXISTING STRUCTURE

The proposed NBN installation comprises the following components:
- Installation of a new NBN headframe at a height of 32 metres on the existing monopole
- Nine (9) new panel antennas (each less than 1m in length) mounted to the new headframe
- One (1) new parabolic transmission antenna (900mm in diameter) mounted a height of 29 metres
- One (1) new equipment cabinet (dimensions 1900mm H x 800mm W x 700 D) and two (2) new equipment cabinets (dimensions 2000mm H x 753mm W x 704mm D) on a new concrete slab adjacent the existing equipment shelters (approx. 50m from monopole)
- Ancillary equipment including a remote radio units, combiners, diplexers, mounts, cables, cable trays, underground conduits, signage, fencing and other necessary ancillary works.
NBN regards the proposed installation works as ‘low-impact’ pursuant to the Telecommunications (Low-Impact Facilities) Determination 2018 based on the description above.
