PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE A ROOFTOP MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION AT WAVERLEY GARDENS SHOPPING CENTRE 271 POLICE ROAD MULGRAVE VIC 3170

Telstra is proposing to upgrade the existing mobile phone infrastructure at the above address to allow for the introduction of 5G to Telstra’s network (and reconfiguration of existing technologies if required).

• The proposal consists of the addition of NR/LTE2600, NR850 and NR3500 (5G technologies). Also included technologies LTE700, LTE1800 and LTE2100 (4G)
• Three (3) panel antenna
• Six (6) tower mounted amplifiers (TMA)
• Six (6) remote radio units (RRU’s) and three (3) junction boxes
• The removal of redundant equipment including three (3) antenna
• Ancillary works may be necessary for the safety and functioning of the existing mobile phone base station and may include antenna mounts, signage, conduits, cables, maintenance and safety equipment.

Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-impact Facility
under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 ("The Determination") based on the description above.
