PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION IN LAWNTON

- The proposed facility consists of the following to improve Telstra’s mobile phone network, including 4G / 5G:
- Relocation of the headframe to a height elevation of 35m.
- Relocation of six (6) existing panel antennas to a new height elevation of 35m.
- Removal of three (3) existing 5G panel antennas to be replaced with three (3) new 5G panel antennas measuring 717mm long at a height elevation of 35m.
- Ancillary works including remote radio units, mounts, combiners, feeders etc, and internal works within the existing equipment shelter.
- Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-Impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination based on the description above. The proposed infrastructure will comply with ACMA EME regulatory arrangements.
