PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION IN NERRIGA
Telstra plans to upgrade a telecommunications facility,
6218 Nerriga Road, Nerriga NSW 2622 (RFNSA No. 2622016)
- The proposed facility consists of the following to improve Telstra’s mobile phone network, including 4G / 5G:
- Removal of six (6) existing panel antennas from a height elevation of 40m.
- Installation of six (6) new panel antennas (measuring 2533mm in length) at a height elevation of 40m.
- Ancillary works such as: tower mounted amplifiers, combiners, diplexers, mounts, cable trays, feeders, cables and works within the existing Telstra equipment shelter.
- Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-Impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination based on the description above. The proposed infrastructure will comply with ACMA EME regulatory arrangements.
