Telstra plans to upgrade an existing telecommunications facility at 70 Sunderland Drive, BANKSIA BEACH QLD 4507 (RFNSA No. 4507006).
1. The upgrade consists of
• Replacement of six (6) existing panel antennas with six (6) new panel antennas (each is no more than 2.8m long)
• Replacement of nine (9) existing Remote Radio Units (RRUs) with three (3) new RRUs.
• Replace of six (6) existing Tower Mounted Amplifiers (TMAs) with three (3) new TMAs
• Ancillary works including RRUs, feeders, cable trays, fibre, and electrical cabling.
• Internal work in the existing equipment building.
2. Telstra regards the proposed works as Low-impact Facilities under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 (“the Determination”) based on the description above.
