Telstra plans to upgrade an existing telecommunications facility at 21 Alexandra Street, MIRANI QLD 4754 (RFNSA No. 4754002).
1. The upgrade consists of -
• Replacement of three (3) existing Tower Mounted Amplifiers (TMAs) with six (6) new TMAs.
• Replacement of six (6) existing panel antennas with six (6) new panel antennas (each is no more than 2.8m long)
• Installation of three (3) new Remote Radio Units (RRUs)
• Replacement of three (3) existing RRUs with three (3) new RRUs.
• Ancillary works including ancillaries such as TMAs, RRUs, feeders, cable trays, fibre, electrical cabling, and etc.
• Internal work in the existing equipment shelter.
2. Telstra regards the proposed works as Low-impact Facilities under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 (“the Determination”) based on the description above.
