Telstra plans to upgrade an existing telecommunications facility at 64-88 Horseshoe Bay Road Horseshoe Bay QLD 4819 (RFNSA No. 4819002)
1.The proposed upgrade of the existing telecommunications facility consists of:
• The installation of new mounts
• The replacement of four (4) omni antennas with two (2) new panel antennas
• The installation of two (2) new Remote Radio Units (RRUs)
• The installation of four (4) new Tower Mounted Amplifiers (TMAs)
• and removal, reuse and installation of ancillary equipment associated with the operation of the facility including RRUs, TMAs, feeders and works within the existing equipment shelter.
2. Telstra regards the proposed works as Low-impact Facilities under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 (“the Determination”) based on the description above.
