INVITATION TO REGISTER AN INTEREST
Artefact Heritage, on behalf of InDev Consulting Pty Ltd (the proponent), is undertaking an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment (ACHAR) of the property known as 138 Cabarita Rd, Cabarita NSW 2137. The proposal includes two components.
Component A: Wharf expansion: an extension of the existing marina wharf to add an additional sixteen berths and relocate or replace an existing pontoon.
Component B: Renewal of the amenities building.

Artefact Heritage have been engaged to prepare an ACHAR to address the anticipated Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs), which have not been issued at this time. The ACHAR will support an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the project.

The study area is located within the City of Canada Bay. We are inviting registrations of interest in the project from Aboriginal groups and individuals who hold cultural knowledge relevant to determining the significance of Aboriginal objects and/or places in the locality of the project. Please note that the consultation guidelines require us to provide details of Registered Aboriginal Parties to Heritage NSW (formerly Office of Environment and Heritage) and the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Lands Council (LALC) In your response could you please advise if you would not like your details to be provided.
