PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION IN NEW BEITH
Telstra plans to upgrade a telecommunications facility, Lot 1 PLAN 250186 New Beith Road, NEW BEITH, QLD 4124 (RFNSA No. 4124007)
1. The proposed facility consists of the following to improve Telstra’s mobile phone network, including 4G / 5G:
● Removal of three (3) existing panel antennas from the existing monopole.
● Installation of six (6) new panel antennas (measuring 2533mm) at a height elevation of 40m on the existing headframe.
● Ancillary works such as: replacement of three (3) tower mounted amplifiers, combiners, diplexers, mounts, cable trays, feeders, cables and
● Works within the existing Telstra equipment shelter.
2. Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-Impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination based on the description above. The proposed infrastructure will comply with ACMA EME regulatory arrangements.
