PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION IN ORION
Telstra plans to upgrade a telecommunications facility,

1. The proposed facility consists of the following to improve Telstra’s mobile phone network, including 4G / 5G:
• Removal of six (6) existing omni antennas from the existing guyed mast structure.
• Reconfiguration of four (4) existing omni antennas (measuring 3414 mm) at a height elevation of 94.5m.
• Ancillary works such as: tower mounted amplifiers, remote radio units, combiners, diplexers, mounts, cable trays, feeders, cables and
• Works within the existing equipment shelter.
2. Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-Impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination based on the description above. The proposed infrastructure will comply with ACMA EME regulatory arrangements.
