PROPOSAL TO INSTALL NEW MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION AT SYDNEY INCLUDING 5G

7-15 MACQUARIE PLACE, SYDNEY NSW 2000 (RFNSA 2000540)

The proposed facility consists of the installation of new equipment and associated works, including 5G, as follows:

  • Installation of two (2) Vodafone passive panel antennas (each 2.7m long) and two (2) Vodafone active panel antennas (each 75cm long)
  • Installation of two (2) Optus passive panel antennas (each 2.7m long) and four (4) active panel antennas (each 80cm long)
  • Installation of 14 remote radio units and 4 combiners
  • Installation of a 6 bay outdoor unit on the rooftop
  • Installation of ancillary equipment including cabling, mounts, filters etc.

1. Vodafone and Optus regard the proposed installations as Low-impact Facilities under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 ("The Determination"), based on the description above.
