PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION IN BERRY

22a Rawlings Lane, Berry NSW 2535 (RFNSA No. 2535009)

1. The proposed facility consists of the following to improve Telstra’s mobile phone network, including 4G / 5G:

  • Installation of a new triangular headframe onto the existing monopole at a height elevation of 22m.
  • Installation of three (3) new panel antennas (measuring 2533mm long) at a height elevation of 22m and three (3) new 5G panel antennas (measuring 793mm) at a height elevation of 23m.
  • Installation of ancillary equipment including: nine (9) new remote radio units, mounts, cabling, feeders etc.
  • New outdoor equipment cabinet measuring 2.6m x 1.4m.

2. Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-Impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination based on the description above. The proposed infrastructure will comply with ACMA EME regulatory arrangements.

3. In accordance with Section 7 of C564:2020 Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code, we invite you to provide feedback about the proposal.
