PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION IN WENTWORTH FALLS

1. The proposed facility consists of the following to improve Telstra’s mobile phone network, including 4G / 5G:

  • Removal of two (2) existing panel antennas from a height elevation of 26.1m and two (2) existing panel antennas from a height elevation of 28.4m.
  • Installation of two (2) new panel antennas measuring 2533mm long at a height elevation of 26.1m and two (2) new panel antennas measuring 2533mm long at a height elevation of 28.5m.
  • Ancillary works such as: remote radio units, combiners, diplexers, mounts, cable trays, feeders, cables and works within the existing equipment shelter.

2. Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-Impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination based on the description above. The proposed infrastructure will comply with ACMA EME regulatory arrangements.

3. In accordance with Section 7 of C564:2020 Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code, we invite you to provide feedback about the proposal.
