CONSULTATION
Proposal to plant new street trees on South Terrace (King William
Street – Morphett Street) and Mills Terrace (Childers Street –
Barton Terrace).
The City of Adelaide gives 28 days legislated notice of its proposal to
plant 16 new trees and replace one (1) established tree that is in poor
condition in South Terrace and five (5) new trees on Mills Terrace.
Under the Local Government Act 1999 – Section 232, Council is
obligated to undertake public consultation in accordance with its
public consultation policy before it plants vegetation on a road
that may have significant impact on residents, nearby businesses or
advertisements in the area.
Visit ouradelaide.sa.gov.au, the Customer Centre or any of the
city’s libraries/community centres during business hours for more
information and to provide feedback by 5.00pm 25 November 2024.
