Glenelg Shire Council (“Council”) gives public notice that by resolution of Council at its Ordinary Meeting of 23 May 2023, the Council resolved to sell the properties identified below in this notice (“Properties”) by public auction, for the purpose of recovering unpaid rates and charges, in accordance with section 181 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Vic) (“Act”). The Properties will each be sold by public auction, to the highest bidder that is equal to or more than the estimated value of the respective property as set out in the independent written valuation of each property obtained by the Council, as per the requirements of section 181 of the Act.
In accordance with section 181 of the Act, the Council gives this public notice of its intention to conduct the sales by public auction of each of property as follows:
