PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE OPTUS MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION AT GLENELG INCLUDING 5G

A8166 Glenelg Foreshore: The Beach house, Colley Terrace GLENELG SA 5045 (RFNSA 5045010)

The proposed facility consists of the addition of new equipment and associated works, including 5G, as follows:

  • Removal of three (3) panel antennas and twelve (12) Remote Radio Units (RRU’s)
  • Installation of three (3) panel antennas (2688mm in length);
  • Installation of nine (9) panel antennas ( 750mm in length); and
  • Installation of ancillary equipment including twelve (12) RRUs, antenna mounts and cabling
  1. Optus regards the proposed installations as Low-impact Facilities under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 ("The Determination"), based on the description above.
