PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATIONS IN BATCHELOR & MILIKAPITI
1. The proposed 4G/5G upgrades will consist of:
Batchelor Exch: 2 Pinaroo Cres, Batchelor NT 0845 (RFNSA 0845001)
• Reuse and reconfiguration of the existing panel antennas
• Removal and replacement of six (6) Tower Mounted Amplifiers (TMAs) on the existing headframe
• Replacement and relocation of ancillary equipment incl. combiners, mounts, feeders, cables and works within the existing equipment shelter
Milikapiti: Lot 395 Milikapiti Comm, Milikapiti NT 0822 (RFNSA 0822011)
• Reuse of the existing omni antennas
• Removal and replacement of two (2) TMAs on the existing headframe
• Replacement and relocation of ancillary equipment incl. combiners, mounts, feeders, cables and works within the existing equipment shelter
2. Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-Impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 based on the description above. The proposed infrastructure will comply with ACMA EMEregulatory arrangements.
