- Telstra Limited (A.C.N 051 775 556) are currently upgrading existing mobile network facilities to allow for the introduction of 5G to Telstra’s network. As part of this network upgrade, Telstra proposes the installation of 4G and 5G technologies at Arcadia. Proposed works at the above site will involve the removal of four (4) existing omni antennas, the installation of three (3) new panel antennas (each no more than 2.8m in length) and the installation of associated ancillary equipment. All internal equipment will be housed within the existing equipment shelter located at the base of the facility.
- Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 ("The Determination") based on the above description.
