PUBLIC NOTICE

PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE VODAFONE & OPTUS MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION (INCLUDING 5G) AT: MAIN GRANDSTAND ROOFTOP - MORPHETTVILLE RACECOURSE,79 MORPHETT ROAD MORPHETTVILLE SA 5043 - RFNSA SITE NO. 5043001

1. The proposed facility consists of the addition of new Optus and Vodafone equipment and associated works as follows (including 5G):

• The removal of existing antenna mounting steelwork
• The removal of six (6) existing panel antennas
• The removal of one (1) existing microwave dish antenna
• The removal of fifteen (15) existing remote radio units
• The removal of one (1) existing GPS
• The installation of new headframe and antenna mounts
• The installation of six (6) panel antennas (no more than 2.7m long)
• The installation of nine (9) active antenna units (no more than 0.8m long)
• The installation of twenty-one (21) remote radio units
• The installation of two (2) GPS
• The provision for future active antenna units and remote radio units
• The removal and installation of ancillary equipment including but not limited to newmounts, combiners, filters, fibre cables, MHAs, switches, feeder cables, breakoutboxes, and electrical cabling, and reconfiguration of existing equipment on the mounting steelwork and in the existing equipment shelter

2. Optus & Vodafone regards the proposed installation as a Low-impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 (“The Determination”) based on the description above.

3. In accordance with Section 7 of C564:2020 Mobile Phone Base Station DeploymentCode, we invite you to provide feedback about the proposal.
