PROPOSAL TO INSTALL A NEW OPTUS MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION AT COLLAROY NSW INCLUDING 5G
S4116 Collaroy Beach: Collaroy Beach Club, 1058 Pittwater Road, Collaroy NSW 2097 (RFNSA 2097011)
1. The proposed facility consists of a new Optus mobile phone base station including 5G equipment and associated works as follows:
• The installation of two (2) panel antennas on a new mounting pole on the building rooftop at a height of 13.6m above ground level (antenna centreline)
• The installation of two (2) equipment cabinets mounted on the building rooftop adjacent to the antennas
• Installation of ancillary equipment associated with operation and safety of the facility, including Remote Radio Units (RRUs), antenna mounts, cabling, safe access infrastructure and safety signage
2. The proposed activities are considered to be “Exempt Development” and “Complying Development” under the SEPP (Transport and Infrastructure) 2021 ( SEPP) based on the description above.
