PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION IN WAHROONGA
Telstra plans to upgrade a telecommunications facility, 33 Coonanbarra Road, Wahroonga NSW 2076 (RFNSA No. 2076007)
1. The proposed facility consists of the following to improve Telstra’s mobile phone network, including 4G / 5G:
• Removal of eleven (11) existing panel antennas.
• Installation of three (3) new panel antennas measuring 2687mm long and three (3) new 5G panel antennas measuring 793mm long.
• Ancillary works such as: remote radio units, combiners, diplexers, mounts, cable trays, feeders, cables and internal works within the existing Telstra equipment shelter.
2. Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-Impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination based on the description above. The proposed infrastructure will comply with ACMA EME regulatory arrangements.
3. In accordance with Section 7 of C564:2020 Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code, we invite you to provide feedback about the proposal.
