Expressions of Interest – Councillor for Central Ward
Litchfield Council is seeking applications from members of the public for the position of Councillor for Central Ward.
Following the Northern Territory Election, Litchfield Council have a vacancy on the Council. The vacancy is required to be filled in accordance with the Local Government Act 2019 (the Act) and Council’s policy GOV14 Filling Casual Vacancies on Council.
Council invites applications from electors who are eligible under section 46 of the Act and enrolled in the Litchfield Municipality, to submit either a written statement or video. Your submission should outline why you want to be a Council member and the qualities you would contribute to the public.

The successful applicant is expected to be appointed at Council’s Ordinary Meeting on 18 February 2025.
