PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE EXISTING TELSTRA 5G IN-BUILDING COVERAGE TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT AT HOMEBUSH STADIUM

  1. The proposal comprises the installation of antenna integrated units associated with an existing Distributed Antenna System for NR2600 technology across the eastern and western gantry areas of the stadium. Further works include the installation of ancillary equipment inside the arena, and internal and auxiliary works at Homebush Stadium, 15 Edwin Flack Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127.   2. The proposed installation is deemed to be low impact pursuant to the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 based on the descriptions above. Consent from Council is not required in this instance.
