Publication of Information for Assessment on Preliminary Documentation under Section 95A(3) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
National Intermodal Corporation Limited is proposing to construct and operate an intermodal freight terminal and associated infrastructure at 2025 Merriang Road, Beveridge (Stage 1A) (EPBC 2023/09693). The proposed action has potential to impact listed threatened species and communities (Sections 18 and 18A) protected under Part 3 of the EPBC Act, specifically Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon (Tympanocryptis pinguicolla) and Herne Swamp wetland and the associated waterways, species and community habitat as a Commonwealth Action (Section 28).
Pursuant to Section 95A(3) of the EPBC Act, the preliminary documentation is available for viewing and comment for a period of 15 business days from 19 December 2024 to 13 January 2025 inclusive.
