The proponent is preparing to apply for as a State Significant Development (SSD) under the
Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. The Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) for the project have not yet been issued, but it is assumed that they will require the assessment of the likely impacts of the proposed development to Aboriginal heritage (cultural and archaeological), through the preparation of an ACHAR. The purpose of this community consultation is to inform the development of an ACHAR to include in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the project. The proponent would like to consult with any Aboriginal persons or organisations that hold
cultural knowledge relevant to determining the significance of Aboriginal objects and places in the Pymble region.
Interested parties should register in writing, providing their name, address, email, phone number and information on their connection to the area. Please note that the Consultation Guidelines requires us to provide details of the Registered Aboriginal Parties to Heritage NSW and the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC). In your response, could you please advise if you would not like your details provided.
