In accordance with section 56A of the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999, notice is given that various roads (as shown on the plan) will be closed to traffic on Saturday 23 November 2024 for the purpose of conducting the 2024 Myer City of Hobart Christmas Pageant. FREE PARKING: City centre parking meters, off-street car parks and Regatta Grounds. CAR PARKS: Due to road closures, required for the safe operation of pageant, there will be limited access to: ARGYLE ST car park – parking available prior to 9 am, exit unavailable until 1 pm. CENTREPOINT car park – parking available prior to 9.15 am, exit unavailable until 1 pm. MARKET PLACE and VODAFONE car parks – normal fees and charges apply, normal operating hours apply. HOSPITAL ACCESS: Access to Royal Hobart and Hobart Private hospitals for emergency vehicles between 8.30 am – 12.30 pm, will be from Liverpool Street at the Brooker Avenue roundabout. Members of the public requiring access to emergency hospital treatment are asked to follow the instructions of Tasmania Police. Please use the crossing point on the corner of Argyle and Liverpool streets to access both hospitals
