The City of Gold Coast will close a section of Upper Ormeau Road, Kingsholme, from 897 Upper Ormeau Road to the southern boundary of 2RP221071 (Lot 2 Howard Creek Place) Wongawallan, from Sunday 22 September 2024.
This section will be closed to all traffic, except for authorised vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.
The closure is for public safety to reduce fire risk, under Section 69 of the Local Government Act 2009.
