Council Offices
The Council Offices will close at 1.00pm (payments to cashiers will be accepted until 12.00 noon) on Tuesday, 24 December and will be closed until Thursday, 2 January 2025.
Mornington Depot
The Mornington Depot will close at 12.00pm on Friday, 20 December and will be closed until 2 January 2025.

Mornington Park Waste Transfer Station
The Mornington Park Waste Transfer Station will close at 4.00pm on Tuesday, 24 December and will be closed on Christmas Day. The Station will be open from 8.30am until 4.00pm on the following days:
Other days will be as per normal operating hours (7.30am to 5.00pm weekdays; 8.30am to 4.00pm weekends.)
Collection of Garbage, Recyclables and Greenwaste
For residents whose kerbside collection falls on Wednesday, 25 December (Christmas Day), Thursday, 26 December or Friday 27 December, the following changes will apply for those days.
Wednesday 25 December | Bins will be collected Thursday 26 December |
Thursday 26 December | Bins will be collected Friday 27 December |
Friday 27 December | Bins will be collected Saturday 28 December |
Kerbside services will revert to the normal collection schedule from Monday, 30 December 2024.
Please ensure that bins are placed out for collection no later than 6.00am on collection day.
Collections will commence in all areas from 6.00am so residents are reminded that bins must be placed on the roadside before 6.00am.
Bin services, including requests for new or additional bins, repairs, replacements or changes to bin sizes will be unavailable between 25 December and 3 January. These services will resume from 6 January 2025.
Clarence Aquatic Centre
The Clarence Aquatic Centre will be closed from close of business on 23 December reopening on Thursday, 2 January 2025.

Rosny Early Learning
The Centre will be closed from 5.30pm Friday, 20 December, and reopen at 7.30am on Monday, 6 January 2025.
Children’s Services – Alma Street
(Family Day Care, Outside School Hours Care and Holiday Care)
The Children’s Service office will close at 1.00pm on Tuesday, 24 December and reopen at 9.00am on Thursday, 2 January 2025.
The holiday programme will operate at Alma Street from 8.00am to 6.00pm weekdays from Thursday, 2 January 2025 through to Friday, 31 January 2025. The Lindisfarne and Montagu Bay services will commence on Monday, 6 January 2025 through to Friday, 31 January 2025. All services will be closed on the Australia Day public holiday – Monday 27 January 2025.
Clarence Community Volunteer Service
The Volunteer Service will close at 1.00 pm on Tuesday, 24 December and re-open on Thursday, 2 January 2025
The Schoolhouse Gallery and Rosny Farm will be closed from Saturday, 21 December. The office will reopen on Monday, 6 January 2025. The site will reopen to the public on Wednesday, 8 January 2025 and resume normal opening hours which are Wednesday to Sunday 11.00am to 5.00pm.
Youth Services
The Youth Centre will close at 1.00pm on Tuesday, 24 December and reopen to the public at 9.00am on Friday, 3 January 2025.
