Due to the temporary population increase in central Surfers Paradise during Schoolies Week, road closures are needed to ensure the safety of all pedestrians.
Residents who cannot access their building during the closures will be offered alternative car parking. Please speak with your Building Manager.
Intermittent road closures will take place along the Esplanade from Elkhorn Ave to Laycock St on Friday 8 November and between Monday 11 and Friday 15 November, and Saturday 23 to Tuesday 26 November 2024. There will be a closure of the southbound lane only along the Esplanade from View Ave to Elkhorn St between Saturday 16 to Friday 22 November, 5pm until 4am.
